A Glimpse of Africa.

The start of August saw Liz Featherstone from the HALAS Ministry lead our Eco Church Service, highlighting how small everyday actions that we can take make a big difference, using the Feeding of the  Five Thousand, as an opening example.

Liz is the daughter of  Retired Ministers Peter and the late Sue Featherstone, Sue being our Circuit Superintendent some years ago.

Philma, our regular pianist, accompanied Liz with her Glimpse of Africa display, and Liz’s clothes featured scenes from Africa. The unequal availability of food and water, including in parts of Africa, underlay much of Liz’s message.
